Crimea, 5 am

To talk about today's Crimea is highly important. This understanding guides DollMen theater, whose new project "Crimea, 5 am" is dedicated to the voices of Crimean Tatar civic journalists unlawfully detained in Russian Federation and detention centers in occupied Crimea.

As partners of the project, we have published the book Crimea, 5 am in Ukrainian and English.

The central element of this book is a play Crimea, 5 am. It was created by playwrights Natalia Vorozhbyt and Anastasiia Kosodii based on documentary materials collected by Crimean political scientist and public activist Lenora Dyulber. Dyulber spoke with the wives, relatives, and lawyers of political prisoners currently held in Russian prisons on trumped-up charges due to their active civil position.

The play is part of the international project "Crimea, 5 am", which aims to inform the general public about the numerous human rights violations in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

The project is initiated by Ukrainian Institute and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine within the Crimean platform. The project is supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

We distribute the publication on a non-commercial basis. To get your copy, visit our store in Kyiv (The Naked Books, 21/13 Reitarska Street). There's a limited number of copies.
